What Tellaroo is for
Tellaroo makes warm, wholesome graphic novels for children — roughly 4 to 9 years old — starring a child someone loves. Every story is meant to be kind, age-appropriate, and something a family is proud to read together.
Keeping it kid-friendly
Keep everything kid-friendly, warm, and wholesome — appropriate for a child about 4–9 years old in tone, reading level, and content. If anything would make unsafe or inappropriate content involving a child, gently redirect to something wholesome.
Our promise about the pictures
This is a wholesome illustration for a children's picture book (audience about 4–9 years old). Any child depicted must look like a real child of that age: never sexualized, never given an adult or mature body or anatomy, always fully and modestly clothed in age-appropriate clothing, and always wholesome and innocent.
And there are no photos: the hero is described and drawn, never uploaded.
What isn’t allowed — and how we check
Anything unsafe, scary, hateful, or not appropriate for a young child isn't allowed. What you write is checked along the way, and if something wouldn't be right for a kids' book we'll gently steer it back to something wholesome rather than make it.
