- No photos of your child — ever. The hero is described and drawn, never uploaded.

What we store
- The words you share about the child — so the story sounds like them — their name, age, what they love, a pet, a few notes. Text only, that you type or tap.
- The look you choose — the tap-to-choose avatar pieces you pick (skin tone, hair, and so on) — never a photo.
- Your email — so we can send your finished book and reach you if anything comes up.
- A payment reference — to confirm your order. Your card details go straight to our payment provider and never touch our servers.
Who helps make your book
A few trusted providers help create and deliver your story. They only ever receive what they need — words and descriptions, never a photo of your child.
- Anthropic (Claude)— writes the story with you from the words you share
- Google (Gemini)— draws the illustrations from a written description — never a photo
- Vercel— runs the website and keeps it online
- Neon— keeps your project safe in our database
- Supabase Storage— holds the drawn pages of your book
- Stripe— takes payment securely — they handle card details, we never see them
- Resend— sends your sign-in and delivery emails
- Llama Guard— an extra safety check on what's written and drawn
How long we keep things
We keep your project and book while your account is active. Behind the scenes we also keep a minimal, coded safety log — no names, no photos, just codes — and we limit how long we hold it: no more than about 90 days for routine records, and up to 365 days for safety-related ones.
